AI Agents Translate Test Instructions Into Twelve Languages

‍Stuttgart, October 12th, 2026 – Softwarehelden GmbH has deployed autonomous AI agents to support multilingual vehicle testing processes at a major automotive group. Running on the Cluu digitalization platform, the agents automatically translate test driver instructions into twelve languages. Staff at testing sites around the world can submit feedback in their local language. This feedback is then translated back and made available within the shared workflow for further processing.

Language changes are part of everyday work in international vehicle testing. A test request may originate in Germany, while the driving takes place in Sweden, Spain or China. Test drivers need to understand the instructions at their location, and their observations must subsequently be understood by the central team responsible for evaluation. A multilingual user interface alone cannot meet this need: the content itself must also move between languages.

Cluu already supports multilingual content. In this deployment, AI agents also handle translation tasks in the background. They translate instructions for test drivers and ensure that feedback is subsequently available in the language used by the central team. Language processing thus becomes part of the testing workflow.

For staff at testing sites, this means they can record observations in their local language. Working in a familiar language is particularly helpful when describing unexpected vehicle behavior or other findings. Meanwhile, the central organization no longer needs to arrange a manual translation of every incoming report before processing it.

Uli Held,CEO at Softwarehelden:

“An observation from a vehicle test is only useful if the people evaluating it can understand it. That is why we integrate translation directly into the workflow. Test drivers can report in their own language, and the central team can work with their feedback.”

The deployment demonstrates how AI can take on specific tasks in vehicle testing. Its focus is the everyday collaboration between test drivers, testing sites and the central organization. Automated translation supports this exchange across language barriers.
